The Complete Chi's Sweet Home, Part 2 by Kanata Konami

We don’t have a reading list for your classroom. Chi discovers that the black bear cat is still there, she just can't see him. The anime series is directed by Mitsuyuki Masuhara and produced by Madhouse, the first episode aired on 31 March 2008. The episodes are 3 minutes long and equivalent to one chapter from the manga.

At Bookelicious, we feed kids’ passion for reading. Our professionally curated collection of great books plus our bookmoji-based book matching technology make it easy for kids to find books they truly want to read. There's more of that vet humor action, and Chi has a big, scary cat invade his house but he sort of ends up being Chi's mentor in The Way of the Cat.

My Account

I didn't actually think he would be gone for good , but I still felt incredibly relieved when he came back. I love watching bugs do bug things, and I love watching cats watch bugs di bug things. However, the story also subtly acts as a reminder to the reader how confusing the world can be to pets and small children. Konami Kanata was born on July 3, 1958, in Nagano, Japan.

Even though in this instalment, the introduction of a new cat was actually kinda scary; the way that cat was drawn freaked me tf out. She went to Futaba-Kōtō Academy in Suwa, Nagano Perfecture. Her first published manga as a profesional manga-ka was the short story Puchi Neko Jamu Jamu in Nakayoshi Manga Magazine in 1982. The magazine is a part of Kodansha Publishing, in which she published her works ever since her first debut. I stand by what I said earlier, this is the peak of literature. No book is as good as this and none will ever be.

I loved seeing Blackie again and meeting David, Alice (so beautiful!), and the other pets at the new apartment. For example, the kitten can't pronounce her R's so she says "Gwass" instead of the word "grass." I can't tell whether her speech is funny or annoying. My fear is that the older children will see this as too "babyish" and lose interest. I think this book could have a much broader range of readers if there was more dialogue and the cat didn't talk with a speech impediment. I thought this book was really cute and adorable.

This book is also relatable because when Chi met a big black cat he just came and strolled in her neighborhood and Chi was trying to chase him away herself. I thought that the pictures are so detailed and it was great how it was drawn. Chi's expressions were just soooo cute and I couldn't stop myself from saying "awwwwwe" every time I saw Chi's cute expressions and cute ways of doing things. I like keeping a volume of this manga around for a literary rainy day - the watercolor-esque art is pretty, it reads easy, and Chi makes me smile. That being said, I ending up liking the first volume a little more than this one. The best thing to read when you're having a fever is something funny and nice to distract yourself while not being too difficult to absorb.

Whoops! We don’t have a reading list for your classroom. Please create one in order to add this book.

I love the illustration style of Chi and the other animals she encounters. The animals are simply adorable and I loved the introduction of new ones in this volume. The author does an amazing job depicting Chi's chaotic movement particularly in comparison to other characters.

And Blackie, Chi's first cat friend, returns as well! I like the little angry cat Chi "befriends" at the park, a tough little kitten who doesn't like Chi...or does he? This was a lot of fun, and just right for light reading a bit at a time.

The illustrations and kitty thoughts are cute as always. Just as adorable and relatable as a cat owner like the first volume. In this collection, Chi begins to adjust to her new home and meets some new friends along the way.

This absolutely turned out to be the case, and I'm delighted to say that the manga is much more fun. ― The 11th volume of Hitoma Iruma's Adachi and Shimamura yuri novel series revealed on Friday that the novels will end with the 12th volume. Iruma launched the novel series in Dengeki Bunko Magazine in 2013 with illustrations by Non . Seven Seas began publishing the light novel series in June 2020. At Bookelicious, we know what books children want to read because every one of our 17,000+ titles has been professionally curated by our team of librarians and teachers.

It's fun to see things from the cat perspective. I will continue to enjoy each volume as it comes out. Chi is an adventurous and easily distracted kitten who after becoming lost, found herself part of the Yamada household. But just as Chi was getting used to her new life, everything changes.

chi's sweet home part 2

While a bit smaller than the first one, it's packed with far more characters. Chi's adventures are a delight, and a beautifully sweet refresher that the world can still be that good and kind. The chapters are short and it is really like having a cat! The Complete Chi’s Sweet Home Part 2 was a wonderful follow-up to the first bind-up where we continue to follow Chi, an adventurous kitten who causes quite a bit of chaos.
